There are equal high chances of failure like any other CNS


Really? All new candidate CNS drugs have equally questionable mechanisms of action, all destined to fail? Why is that? Is it because the pathogenic biochemistry of nerves is simply unable to be effectively modulated by any drug whatsoever? Or, have humans simply not yet found any that can?

Can you then tell us why the unique mechanisms of action of the Anavex drugs, binding to and activating the sigma-1 receptor protein can’t work, will have “equal high chances of failure?” If there is any, what is the science behind that contention?
