Went in to the pharmacy yesterday to pick up my 90 day supply of V, and for the first time was told that my insurance (Cigna) wanted to give me generic V. I told the pharmacist no, I did not want GV because it is not the same as V, and that I can actually get Vascepa cheaper by using the coupon. Pharmacist got into the computer for a few minutes and came back and I received my normal 90 day supply of V for the usual $9.
