Totally get what you've stated here, that the CT's were issued via the Trust, and the Trust was provided debentures from Lehman. That said, what is the status of the debentures...are they considered to be senior debt from the Lehman perspective? I know that the CT's are considered to be on parity with Lehman's senior preferred. The Trust is apparently still active as the CT's exist; in which case I would think that the debentures are still considered to have value.
