The key with trading is not predictions about the future - that’s impossible

The key to profits is to be able to predict the future albeit short term - that's not impossible otherwise I'll have to join you on a ramen diet:))

There's also a saying " let your profits run but cut your losses short" and "you never go broke taking a profit"

Lots of contradictory axioms LOL.
