Ny attorney law firm who has clients short stock in a specific company, and may have employees of law firm also short the stock. files a petition casting aspersions on the company for the main purpose of driving the price down to financially reward the law firm and its clients.
Filing document is wrought with baseless and false allegations, some half truths all designed to scare people into dumping the stock and have the price crash.

Seems there would be ethical rule violations here, though I don't know for sure
This firm has offices in NY, Ill, and a bunch of other states.
Any input would be appreciated.
