We've all been on a road trip before...

Think of how many times "everything" was packed for the trip... how many times you checked your pockets to make sure you had your phone and wallet... checked to see that the oil and tire pressure was good... that the straps holding the luggage on the roof of the ol family truckster were secure... and yet, something (or several things) that weren't foreseen, made the trip less than smooth.

Like what?

- Like getting pulled over for doing 71 in a 65 (C'mon man... really?)

- Flat tire (I JUST got these things!)

- Craving Chick-fil-A (You turn off the highway only to realize it's Sunday)

- Gas prices just 100 miles outside your home town are outrageous (like .50 more/gallon somehow)

- The kids have to use the bathroom just an hour into the trip (number 2)

- The mountains are screwing with your XM satellite radio (and, of course, your bluetooth connection happens to also be acting up)

- The A/C is nothing but luke warm air (that lifetime unlimited warranty isn't going to do you any good when you're expecting to be somewhere at a certain time)

- Traffic... Just endless slow as molasses traffic (so WAZE reroutes to the scenic secondaries and, yep... there is a 112 year old lady doing 23mph in a 25 for the next 15 miles)

"The" list goes on and on and on... none of these things are guaranteed to happen, yet on almost every trip, there seems to be an handful of things that get in the way of a smooth sail to the final destination. And yet, none of these things would ever keep someone from arriving to wherever it was they were headed.

What does it all cost? A speeding ticket might set you back 15min and a $130; A flat tire, maybe 30min and some top speed; Unable to satisfy the Chick-fil-A craving, maybe an unsatisfied and grumbly stomach; Increase in gas prices, maybe a few extra bucks; Kids unable to hold it, maybe 20min and some of whatever hair you've got left on your head; The mountain interference with the radio, maybe a nerve or two; The A/C being luke warm, maybe a change of clothes after reaching the final destination; Traffic, maybe an hour added to the trip and a future stop to the confession booth.

All of these things are "bumps in the road" and a total pain to deal with... most of which (no matter how hard you try) aren't entirely avoidable (i.e. not in control of the traveler).

Imagine just cancelling the trip and deciding not to go the rest of the way after having to deal with getting pulled over. A pity party ensues and the car is parked back in the drive-way just 30 minutes after originally departing. Or the traffic.... there's JUST TOO MUCH TRAFFIC... and even though the destination is only 15 more miles after having traveled over 600 miles... who would turn back at that point? Does it even make sense? Of course it doesn't. All of the things I mentioned above are things that realistically just get thrown over the shoulder because the goal has not been reached. The final destination has not been realized. And what is the final destination anyway? Is this a business trip where an organization is depending on this arrival? Is this a beach get-away with the family and is a once a year type thing? I suppose however significant (or insignificant) the trip is, the case is still clear that no one is really going to expect a trip to go perfectly smooth, nor will they freak-out and lose patience on the trip entirely as things come up.

I say all of this to make the point that GRPS (this particular road trip) has had its fair share of frustrating events that have caused the timeline to get shifted to the right (several road trip annoyances have come up)... and these are the things that we know about, that have been made public. There are likely other things that have occurred behind the scenes that have thrown a wrench in the GRPS process that we may never get the chance to hear about. Again, my point is clear... it doesn't make sense to turn around and give up on the road trip when you're almost at your destination just because there was one or several bumps in the road.

I looked back on several of the tickers I've been a part of in the past, and MOST behaved similar to GRPS in that I was anticipating that things were going to be as smooth as a baby's bottom, but they weren't... not by a long shot. And just as GRPS is seeing now, there were plenty of light volume red days to speak of.... until the destination was reached... then KABOOM! Without warning, massive volume and green candles that would make any heart flutter. Unfortunately, many people were convinced they needed to turn around and head home because the A/C wasn't working. Go ahead, turn around...hopefully the warranty covers the A/C and you'll be back on the road in no time. Or... you can finish the journey that was started, arrive (a little sweaty), and buy a brand new car with ice cold A/C.

Nothing has changed with GRPS. I say nothing has changed in the sense that all of the solid information that has been released publicly by the company over the last three months hasn't been rescinded or recanted on. There is no reason to believe that contracts aren't imminent. There is no reason to believe that gummies won't be in the hands of the consumer soon... that the PLEX line of products won't soon change the industry standard in the nutraceutical space... that this Stem Cell Division won't generate millions of dollars in annual revs soon... that the Veterinary Division won't find a way to have the GRPS animal friendly product line in one or several major pet superstores (PETCO/CHEWY).

Hear this. If you have been holding this stock for less than 3 months, in my opinion, you are blessed. There has been a number of rollercoaster ride elements to GRPS prior to the last three months... non of which had to be dealt with. Within the last three months, there have been a few bumps in the road... kids have definitely asked to use the bathroom several times and it feels like Sunday...every day... but you've managed to enter just before takeoff.

For those who have been holding for longer than three months, you too are blessed in my opinion, because you got pulled over, radio didn't work, several flat tires, whole car caught on fire, etc... and still, here you are... because you know GRPS is going to rock, hard.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... BUY. HOLD. SELL. That's all there is, and that's all there ever was.

See you when we've reached our destination... or not.

If you've done your homework on GRPS, as I have, these cheeper shares have come as a bit of a surprise, but are welcomed, for now, non-the-less. Accumulation is a beautiful thing, especially when you gain 100% at every penny.

.10 coming. I promise, I will be the first to say I told you so.
