An otherwise great article ruined by this statement:

Here in the U.S., it must do so by selling a drug that on average costs 77% more than generics.

That's not even close to true - GV only costs something like 7% less than V retail, and cost to the patient can be much higher than if they're able to use the coupon for V. I have no clue where he got that number, but clearly he didn't research it sufficiently.

OTOH, great that the author got KM to comment publicly about P-IT - JT would never in a million years have mentioned a potential off label use for V, he was terrified of the FDA and FTC - so good for KM!
