I thought for a long time Intel would buyout IDCC. However, I believe Intel gave up on building its own wireless technology/modem chip when it sold its wireless IP to Apple. Now, IMO, I believe Apple may be a more likely suitor for IDCC's intellectual property since Apple plans to build its own wireless modem chip for Apple products.
