I wonder if the PFE incentive ...

Is there anyway for HLS to provide Pfizer with enough financial incentive for them to do this deal? If not the reason must be something else.

... is that through the signing of this partnership marketing agreement with HLS, Pfizer got HLS to sign a mutual NDA that opens up HLS books to Pfizer and which might shed considerable light on Vascepa sales, and to a lesser, more indirect extent, on Amarin. This could be information that Amarin, without a serious offer on the table, is unwilling to share with PFE. Amarin did the buy-out dance with Pfizer in late 2019 and may not be willing to share too much information this time around.
