Whatever the self imposed quite period is (or isn't) it does not prevent proper public disclosure.

The cited example by many is the period before ernings release. That is in place to stop all private conversation with analysts because it is way to easy for undisclosed financials to color any discussion. It does not prevent a company from publicly disclosing the data, and many companies do so.

Using "quiet period" as an excuse for a company to not publicly disclose is BS.

Why does virtually every public company with material trial results disclose them when they have the data? Ar they not in the same quiet period LP is?
