I’ve watched this sorry excuse for a bull case where only two citizens are “pro” and neither of them live near the mining projected site. Those opposed, some have families that have lived there for 100’s of years. He made the paperwork public, nobody is “shaking” anybody for more money. Being a lawyer, you would think he knows exactly how to get what he wants from a contract and doesn’t need a so-called show. I suspect he wanted a platform to let everyone know, and he got one. How do you know this wasn’t brought up to the DA before, or after this session? The DA doesn’t tell anyone about their investigation until a case is made. I don’t know if it is customary or rule of law for the commissioners body, but one of the people sponsoring this 60-day moratorium is the counties District Attorney.

But time will tell with this one…
