IMO:The Nokia network will have to prove interoperability with WCDMA handsets and PC cards..and as with G.D. and SK Mobile "interoperability" appears to be IDCC's sweet spot.

U.S. Army Hires Nokia to Install WCDMA 3G/HSDPA Network

The United States Army has hired Nokia (News - Alert) to build a WCDMA 3G/HSDPA network in hopes that the deal will help them assess potential applications for 3G wireless technologies for defense purposes.

Are either of you aware of any clauses in government contracts, that require representations from their suppliers (The recent Nokia Army contract) regarding patents, licenses, and non-infringement?
