I totally agree with everything you said here, especially the part about how Thero was a wizard and literally saved the company from the brink of destruction at the moment when it desperately needed an accountant to keep it afloat while it had hardly any revenues and was spending over a half billion dollars to conduct the seven-year trial.

And, when those results were announced, the company seemed to be hitting on all cylinders, even getting some national media coverage of the results and getting the big article in the New England Journal of Medicine. Then, he pulled off the amazing fund raise of over $500 million literally hours before the stock value collapsed when they announced that the FDA was insisting on an AdCom meeting.

But ever since Judge Du ruled, it's like the wind got taken out of Amarin's sales on every level. They seemed to dismantle their public relations and investor relations departments. And new leadership, with marketing expertise, was the right move.
