R.A. It's a topic that came up on my Nextdoor last week. When I brought natural treatments/cures into the conversation, the whole thread quickly got deleted. Hmmmmm. Several persons in the traditional medicine field are always trolling, and shutting down opposition to their standard ways.

I also live in a very closed-minded, liberal,:( area, where anything that doesn't suit the topic of the day, it gets wiped away.

Not playing doctor, not doling out advice, not a medical-trained person, just have done a lot of research into various ailments. So this is ALL in my opinion only.

I have seen where anything anti-inflammatory, seems like a good place to start. Inflammation seems to be the root cause behind many diseases. Contributed to mine, I'm quite sure.

Look into what causes inflammation, and q-u-i-t sugar - - first, IMO.

Then, just dig into finding natural treatments, etc., for R.A.

Curcumin is a good anti-inflammatory. So good it could actually be (probably is) considered to be (natural) medicine. Might not mix well with any of your current Rx.

Consult with your physician, I always have to say that, because, well, not wanting to steer anyone wrong, but I will just say, the Oncologist assigned to me had never met me before, didn't care about me, I felt, as a person, just as a $$$. I asked about Immunotherapy, which five years ago, was pretty new. Wanted to hear nothing about it. Prescribed two rounds of chemo, and than a bone marrow transplant. I declined all of it.

What is working so far for me might not work well for all. I was in Stage 1, but that also might have meant had she suggested a complete lifestyle/diet change, none of her $$$$$$ treatments needed to be rushed into.

It's a raw subject for me....the doctors and nurses had been seeing my white blood cell count drop and drop for years, saw a rise in a certain protein, and saw my low Vitamin D level for years. ONCE I was prescribed a six-week regimen of high-dosage Vit. D. No further education or information on what was going on.

Then in May of 2016 I dropped in for my annual physical, and they lay it on me....with no tests, no nothing else, just simply looking at those (still worsening) numbers on my blood work, WBC, that protein, etc.,.......YOU HAVE CANCER...HERE'S WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO TO YOU. Again, I declined....my personal choice. Had it been my child instead, they likely would have forced the child into their line of treatment. smh

Tons of info out there. GL!
