Appreciate the kind words, and blessing. But, please don't feel sorry for me.

My poor food choices, including very few greens, and heavy on sugary foods, soda, and snacks that tasted good, brought this on. I was supplying very low-grade fuel to my body, and immune system. I beat it down to where it just wasn't functioning, allowing cancer to take hold, and grow in my blood plasma, in the form multiple myeloma. That's where/how, I believe I got it.

Was never obese, just a lot of belly fat, excess weight over all, and always sluggish. And have never asked why, or felt sorry for myself. Just went about tacking it the minute I got home after the diagnosis. Just another big life challenge. Never had what one would call a charmed, or privileged life.

It was caught early, Stage 1, and instead of taking chemo, and getting a bone marrow transplant, as prescribed, and continuing on with my lifestyle and food choices, I decided to rely on research into building back my immune system so it could do what it's supposed to do, took things to increase white blood cell counts, and things that actually kill cancer cells.

AND, I QUIT 99% OF THE SUGAR INTAKE ----- HUGE!!!!!

A blessing in disguise, as I feel better and look better than I did before. I believe, while maybe not totally beating it, and/or, putting it into complete remission, I can live a long, healthier, happier life, with it.

Not a medical expert, and not necessarily advising others to do same, but it was a risk/rewrad choice myself and my wife made.

Thanks again for the thoughts.......
