Okay boomer, scarcity is the true store of value.. Bitcoin has solved that the only reason gold is such a store of value is because we perceive it to have value (and well humanity has valued gold since thousands of years ago) however what happens in the future when humanity is able to mine all the gold or precious metals we desire from other planets or asteroids? Sure that won’t happen for many many generations but the practically of precious metals is pretty limited compared to what digital currency assets can achieve in the digitized age. Gold would be a safer bet no doubt to hold value but the potential reward is laughable to digital assets right now.
