I use Schwab and recently received an email similar to that of TD. No specific date given yet, only in 'late August'.

I also posted a fairly similar message last night on $EXBX regarding this situation. Obviously $EGOC is miles ahead. But I totally agree with you that if the dates don't align and buying gets temporarily halted, that it will only be for a very short time. I've never seen a buyer so gung-ho publicly promoting their company And shell purchase. I believe they will follow through with their intentions.

On a side note, I don't find it fair that brokers are jumping the gun and halting buys a month plus before the deadline all of us are aware of. But, it is what it is. At least they gave us a heads up.
