Was the report disappointing?
Or were the expectations too high?
After sleeping about it, I came to the following realization:
Henry's tweets raised expectations in me that weren't met yesterday.
It was to be expected that Henry could not say anything about the share buyback and VinaFilms sales.
In addition, I thought that one or the other “catalyst” would come. Was not. Are there reasons why we couldn't hear anything “new”? I mean yes!
Part of my analysis is always putting myself in someone's shoes.
So what would I do if I were Henry?
Isn't it Henry's duty to create added value for the shareholders?
Isn't that exactly what Henry wants?
Isn't that what we all want?
The basis is the announced extension of the share buyback until December 31, 2021, now up to 25 billion.
How can this goal be achieved?
Certainly very difficult or not at all if the CC has one or more catalysts would have been there. The course would have exploded!
So what is the PPS doing today and in the following days / weeks?
I expect a sharp decline today, but that's exactly what Henry needs.
He will record all sales under 0.01 with a smile!
I wouldn't be surprised if Henry took his time to find more "catalysts" hold back.
I wouldn't be surprised if Henry got the buybacks posted in slices
would communicate.
How many shares has Henry bought back?
How many shares will / can Henry buy back?
How many shares will Henry buy back in total?
Example:
If I start from today's status; we have about 26 billion OS.
Has Henry managed to buy back 20 billion shares so far.
Then there are still 6 billion
Can Henry buy back another 3 billion.
Then there are still 3 billion
Are 3 billion shares more than 6 billion?
No question, the value doubles!
Is it bad for me, for a few more weeks for this or similar added value waiting? To be honest, it annoys me a little; but I also know
what the reward looks like.
All of this is my current view and analysis, which of course does not have to be correct. Everyone should form their own opinion.
