is there any merit in a SPAC that was interested in getting in at a good value wanting the share price to remain low? May explain some of the MM games we have been seeing by Citadel and others?

Yes and I would classify the 3 reasons or motivations for manipulating (by anyone) the price lower as

1) someone accumulating a large position over weeks or months

2) someone preparing to supply funding for equity

3) someone holding convertible debt that converts at a variable discount to market who intends to convert the debt to equity (remembering that the conversion is ultimately a bullish indication unless there is an immediate liquidation of those shares)

The only defense is to beat them at their game, buying at the lows and selling on the rips higher

FWIW - I bought nearly half of today’s volume at LOD, a partial fill of ~94k@ .0111

I’m confident in GSPE’s determination to drill and the value that it represents

I don’t say “buy the dip” if I don’t honestly believe it to be a good move
