When will my deposit post to my account?
We immediately credit your account for deposits made before the cutoff time. You can then trade most securities.

< I have used this to trade within a minute after doing the transfer (ACH)- for relatively small deposits. (I have done if for transfers of relatively low amounts, a couple of thousand). I check my account as soon as I deposit and once the cash position is updated (almost immediately after the transfer)I go ahead and start buying.I am not sure if you could do multiple transfers of smaller denominations to override the restriction on larger deposits (see below)>

When will my deposit clear?
A deposit may take up to four business days to clear after it posts to your account.

What restrictions exist?
Until your deposit clears, we restrict withdrawals and trading of some securities based on market risk. This includes but isn't limited to options and most stocks priced under $5 per share.

On larger deposits, we may restrict all trading until your bank clears the transfer. To trade sooner, select a wire transfer or request an ACH transfer directly from your bank (see “Give instructions directly to your bank or payroll provider” in the next column).
