I've never heard that OTC investment didn't have to be reported by Institutions, if true, it would be for Institutions who specifically invest in the OTC.

What I do know is that Institutions only report stock that they hold over a quarter. Any Institution, regardless of how their charter says they're supposed to invest, may invest in a stock on or after the first day of a quarter and don't need to report the investment as long as they sell on or before the last day of the quarter. The MM's are only to happy to support the Institutions in investing in shares that have nothing to do with their charter.

Many years ago my broker told me that Institutions frequently buy stocks that fall into what their charters cover except for the price they're trading at. The hope is that by the end of the quarter they'll be above the threshold they're supposed to invest in, if not they'll sell at the end of the quarter, and they repurchase if they're still interested in owning the stock.

I have no idea how many Institutions may be involved with NWBO at this time. I suspect that when our share price exceeds about $4 you'll see Institutional holding up dramatically when Institutional holding is reported in the quarter following it's achieving that level. No doubt the numbers will grow dramatically when NWBO moves on to a major exchange as many Institutions can't own OTC stocks regardless of the share price.
