funny, no mention in that article of the damage to the environment that the continued burning of fossil fuels will cause, nor any mention of the growing demand for oil. those predictions that there is plenty of oil left seem to ignore that demand is growing exponentially as China and India develop. those first 1 trillion barrels were the easiest to drill out, and while they were enough for the past 100 years, the next 1 trillion will be far more costly to drill and won't last nearly as long with the growing demand.

they also neglect to mention the damage to the US economy and security by continuing to send billions of dollars outside the US to pay for fuel.
