It’s not my argument, but the UK approved the COVID vaccines well ahead of the EMA, and that happened immediately after BREXIT happened. They are no longer part of the EU. This drug also has special status in the UK that allows it already to be sold to patients, which is an additional UK special for advancing treatments quickly, and then lastly, the UK and special charities are highly focused on Glioblastoma. It’s a bit of a National predisposition to advance treatments and a cure in the UK. I know of no other EU state where it is so often discussed in national media in that manner.

And again, the UK left the EU. It is a bit of a focus that they believe they are more efficient outside of the EU, and one area of focus for them is drug approval. They think they are more efficient and the EMA COVID vaccine delays highlighted their argument. What could have been more urgent than those approvals?
