The KEY to success is the viability of the patent protection (which is apparently still in application stage), and the nature of any trade secret proprietary processes not disclosed in the patent that are intended to be kept trade secret. Please follow my logic here:

1. If the is no patent and no protected trade secret, the making of this fule can be done by anyone, including those multi-billion dollar petro companies that can dump a 100 million dollars on a plant in an instant and out compete a start-up. This is the worst case scenario.
