They don’t change DNA or RNA. They don’t enter the nucleus. They basically provide instructions for your immune system in terms of how to produce specific antibodies. They enter immune cells and instruct them to make a protein. The body sees the protein as foreign and then produces antibodies against it. The mRNA is broken down and gotten rid of by our bodies when it’s done with it. That’s my basic understanding.
