I agree!! Gary’s post sizes up the Northwest potential if they are allowed to follow that path. Further, Gary and the rest of us realize the disruptive potential of a successful DCVax platform of treatments. If I were running a BP company involved in treating several forms of cancer, I wouldn’t want little Northwest to disrupt my future game plans! I would have a number of treatments on the market placed at enormous cost to my company and would do everything possible to slow the entry of DCVax to allow for the amortization of my costs avoiding abrupt replacement and tremendous financial losses!!! The way to prevent that is to own and control the resource, DCVax platform ,allowing me to release these new treatments in a way that would have the least ,detrimental effect to my bottom line!!! I have personally witnessed this strategy applied to operations of one of the largest companies in America!!
Again, what seems to be the best and most logical approach for Northwest is very often the hardest to implement in the face of substantial opposing forces!!! In general, change is hard on people, especially when it results in enormous financial loss!!!
