Can somebody give me a meaningful explanation why the "Big Boys" have fought so hard and spent so much money to get 75/25 instead of formerly 70/30, if both of them are allegedly zero?

I'm skeptically hopeful, but the simple answer is that 75% resulted in more WMIH than 70%... which resulted in more COOP. The fact that WMIH was granted means the recovery has already resulted in more than zero and that 75% resutled in more than 70% would have. The neverneding question is whether there is anything additional or if that's it.
