Jasbg, Understand that the FDA ultimately is driven by government policy.
They are part of the executive branch of government thus controlled by the
president...with the legislative branch of government having oversight and
some control. What all this means is that it is all politically driven.

My theory of why AMRN has had so many issues is because the AMRN BOD has
little (if any) political influence anywhere. BP have significant ability
to lobby government players. Just look at how Pfizer managed to get their
vaccine approved for use and paid for by the US government. Pfizer has
gravitas...Amarin does not Small biotech companies can be destroyed
from lack of funding, bad management, and little or no political support.

Is the FDA corrupt? The entire system is corrupt. What does this mean
for AMRN? The BP that could have helped launch Vascepa early on may now
figure it's too late in the game to salvage it. (Too bad Pfizer did not
acquire AMRN long ago as they could have promoted Vascepa as a second
wall of protection against not only CVD but potentially COVID-19 as well.)
Europe may be our best opportunity for a Euro-Centric BP to avoid the
mistake of GIA in the US. The "right BP" might even salvage the US
situation. I hope for a BP BO so a great drug will not be "laid to waste"
