Making a big deal out of nothing. Little to no processing needed. Unlike trawlers shmp can time their harvest so their shrimp are fresh when leaving the facility.

SHMP farms shrimp. Shrimp are purchased by wholesalers who arrange for the shrimp to be picked up fresh at the facility immediately after harvest. Processing and distribution are not SHMP’s problem.

SHMPs selling point is little to no processing needed. Why ruin a good fresh product with unnecessary processing?

The operation can be run like local seafood operations.

Fisherman catch the seafood. The fisherman can sell fresh seafood to an individual as retail, seafood retail stores to fill orders for their customers or a fish dock that buy the seafood directly from the fisherman. Sometimes the fisherman will have an exclusive deal to sell to the fish dock as they are guaranteed to sell their catch at market price.

The fish dock sells to individuals, seafood retailers, and seafood processors for resale.

SHMP is the fisherman unless they choose to get involved with processing and distribution.
