For those that have never been thru a buy out---it's very interesting as to what happens to the PPS of both companies ----The purchase price is fixed---that is the only knowable---the pps of both companies will vacillate---and could do so greatly---you've got the "option" people and the "arbitrage" people---the shorters and the MMs----don't forget the MMs.....pisses them off.

If the investment community thinks it is a good deal for the buyer--that pps may rise prior to ex date and could rise greatly after the completion of the buy out---and the trading PPS of RGBP could rise to a premium over the buy out price,, and, yes, the reverse could happen---if the buying company is unable to comfortably digest its purchase----or if the investment community doesn't see the value in the purchase,, well-----nuff said there.

In our case ,, Our CEO is cleaning up the house , going current, audited financials, so that there will be no problems and he will handle the entire transaction----so , NO miscommunication!!! And RGBP will be very transparent as to what is being purchased---so no fear of the buyers pps declining---if it is a stock swap---or a partial stock plus cash--

Me,, I will sell some just before and take stock for the longer term in the purchasing company--why?? well as you know, RGBP has a lot of patent value, and will be a very fine asset in a larger Pharma Company--and could be spun off a years down the road--and I don't want to pay the tax

To find the ending -you need to tune in to Batman & Robin on Fri nights.
