John, I agree 100%, my first stock purchase was 100 shares of Polaroid in 1981 at about 16.00 I believe it was, and I too have never been fortunate enough to have been part of a reverse split that worked out favorably for shareholders, however, that said, Poet has a true Next-Gen technology in-hand so quite hopefully it will beat the odds of R/S's in general!

BTW, when they announced the R/S I sold shares of Poet that I had been holding for many years EXACTLY for the reasons just discussed, and then weeks/months(?) later Poet put out a "clarification" news release saying the R/S was not imminent as was implied in the original news release, but that it would not happen until such time as Poet was closer to being ready for NASDAQ, presumably meaning closer to Production Revenues, and I bought those shares back, but a missed out on a substantial PPS rally that happened for whatever reason just after that initial announcement, that really PISSED ME OFF to say the least

Still a believer in Poet, but not a fan of the R/S, period!
