I disagree with your position that the failure to hear from the TA means a settlement is in jeopardy.
A judge doesn't stop a trial in the middle of the proceedings just because the parties ask him to.
There has to be more than a reasonable expectation of settlement.
This judge isn't going to let the parties stop just because one side thinks it is losing and maybe needs time to re-group and re-work its trial strategy.
This judge had to hear the proposed terms of the deal and had to realize it was more than enough to effect a settlement
I believe the general parameters/numbers/details are well set. It's the small stuff that sometimes takes a little time.
But I don't see this going anywhere but to a deal.
Not saying we get everything, anything or something in between. Also not sure when the TA gets involved.
But I believe you will have a deal by 7/9. (And yeah, lawyers for sure milk the clock - especially since they know the bucks are there and the parties are too committed to do anything about it)

Just my opinion.
