Between the shareholders presentation and the YouTube video between LWLG CEO and VP of Photonics at GlobalFoundries, it has been made abundantly clear that LWLG’s technology is on the cusp of being implemented as a new standard for photonic integrated circuits.

This is a patented, plastic material that when added to today’s silicon photonics technology triples the speed and drastically reduces power consumption. Data centers consume a few % of global electricity. This will cut that power bill by a huge amount. The material and device design is also very easy to add to the current processes and has been tested to be able to withstand all of the extreme manufacturing and operating environments.
