SAVA did the WS thing as a result there are a lot of stock brokers pushing SAVA. Missling did not do the WS thing. As a result there is not that army of brokers pushing Anavex stock.

Sava has about 3.75 Mill shares short on an OS of 40 mil shares.

AVXL has about 7 mil shares short on an OS of about 80 mil shares.
Proportionately the numbers are about equal.

I disagree with you about the longs being forced to sell. Most have been in Anavex for a long time and have a low cost basis. There may be some profit taking on the way up as many will be recovering the cost, even with that, most long shares will be held till the SP gets much higher than present.
