Yesterday, someone posted in reference to ELD certification: "When they mentioned that time frame of Late Summer, I don't think they pulled that out of nowhere."

I asked where this came from and who "they" is, but got no reply.

The article, posted on June 11th, states, "CTA (Canadian Trucking Alliance) is confident the first such devices (ELDs) will be approved in the coming weeks." However, it also says: "DeLarochelliere is confident that by late summer the dominant players in the Canadian market will be certified."
The "dominant players" refers to the current big boys on the market. It does not refer to Ultrack, which hasn't reached that status...yet.

Mystery cleared up.
