They've got at least a 5 year tail as the last to enter the trial was 5 years into it when they locked the trial. I'm uncertain if they would include the nearly additional year that patients will have lived by the time data is actually produced. I don't doubt that the company will continue to track those still living in the trial, I'm just uncertain if they'll be included in the data as displayed.

I believe 5 years and more is more than sufficient to convince the regulators of the effectiveness of the vaccine. Of course if they did announce say the Top 100 with a median of say 75 months, then if they added that with the time since the trial ended, that median had grown to say 82 months, it would be impressive. Remember, as long as 50 or more are still alive, the median for the Top 100 in the trial should just keep moving up. I believe that more than 50 are alive, perhaps substantially more.
