Those are not block trades, well...... they ARE block trades but not in the way you might think. They are an accumulation of orders throughout the day that get "filled" by end of day. So the market makers hold some shares throughout the day and then marry them up at the end of day. If you look at any other stock's level 2, you will see a huge block order printed on the tape at exactly market close as well. Put simply that is not one person buying 50 or 80K shares. Hedge funds and well heeled traders know all the tricks to hide position size when trading these thin tickers. They'd buy 356 shares , then 430 shares , than 561 shares every 5 mins or so all throughout the day instead of a huge block at end of day.
