Yup. Pattaya and Phuket are just too wild to live for my liking at 58, but 20 years ago i would have dived in head first. Bangkok too much traffic, pollution, and 11 million people.

Hua Hin is on the Gulf of Thailand with beautiful beaches, warm ocean breezes, lots of ice cold beer, and it's only 3 hours south of Bangkok by car if you need to rage for a weekend.

We love it here. Perfect place to retire.
