My old stock broker used to refer to this period of time as the Summer Doldrum's for biotech's. From ASCO to Labor Day little news is generally made. It doesn't mean that nothing well happen, but it's a time that if you need the signature of key people to finalize a partnership, etc. it may take awhile as generally they're taking vacations at this time.
