I would have categorized it as a "0" 'third from last conference' but it could then slip to 'fourth from last conference' if they decided to hold an unscheduled one on, say, June 30th.

I do think the Court got used to holding a few slots open as the previous administration generated a lot of litigation at high levels of government. The cases granted cert at the late unscheduled conferences were often agency/department cases. And they were cases that were scheduled at previous conference that then got pushed forward. Under Uncle Joe everyone wants to go to bed early, including the Justices - so the 24th may be last meeting for this term. And with only 17 cases scheduled for next session so far they can easily take another 10-12 cases now without worrying about overload.
