Oakes, Thanks. Any thoughts on silver, for its industrial uses and as a key component in solar panels? It should also benefit from inflation and a further rise in gold.
With copper, one problem is it's already had a big run, and hasn't really retraced much. Do you still like copper at these levels? Also, I'd be interested in your overall strategies with materials and metals. Generally, do you favor investing in them directly, in the miners, or the companies/industries using them? Thanks.
Concerning the alternative energy sectors, these clearly seem to be the future (whether deserved or not), so is your avoidance mainly due to high valuations, or for other reasons? The clean energy sector has strong tailwinds built in by the globalist de-carbon agenda, so the stocks should be back in favor at some point.
Also, any thoughts on the Rare Earth sector? REMX is a convenient vehicle, and last year I also had some MP via the SPAC. Also, do you like Lithium (LIT) at these levels?
Last year was easy (everything was going up), but developing a rational strategy now hasn't been so easy. Thanks for your insights :o)
