Good point. If the deal is off then there is no reason the market cap has to stay the same HOWEVER I don't think it should fall since the SP never moved up to incorporate the potential Wandi or other deals in the first place. The market cap right now is what I think the market is valuing the company right now with no acq. included just based on its current/ short term prospects for only it oil production.
