I took a day off work today, lots of stuff to do for my garden association and in my own garden.
I passed the garden tractor and weed eater just about everywhere, except one spot. There is a car parked and has been parked for almost 2 months in a corner of the parking lot. It moved once during that time.
I called the police once, about a month ago, they confirmed it wasn't stolen, and I told them to let it go, I was just wondering why it is there and never moves. They were not allowed to tell me who the owner was, but they gave me the street name of the owner. I said ok, that's one street over and there is really no parking anywhere, so not a problem.
So, I called the police again today, said I needed them to contact the owner so he could move his car so I could finish cutting the grass.
I think the guy didn't understand anything, said he would send out a team to check out the situation in a couple days. I tried to explain that all I wanted was that the guy move his car 10 feet, he can leave it in the parkinglot, I don't care.
So now, the police are most likely going to show up at his house, he's gonna be pissed that they showed up, misunderstand that all I needed was that he move his car SO THAT I DON'T DAMAGE IT and then because of the misunderstanding he'll probably set fire to my vegetable garden.
All this, because the police won't give me an address or telephone number so I can ask nicely.
