As for the expiring claims, we shall see if they rescue them at the last minute - still a chance.

But they are geologically garbage. The ridicule is because their model, at least in the not too distant past, was their claims were highly prospective due to nearology (near Macassa) and they claimed to have "A Passion for Exploration".

Letting mining claims expire, and especially if they do so without a PR of explanation (new business strategy, yada, yada) would be a gut punch to anyone who invested based on the nearology tale and their claim of "passion for exploration".
Which makes them either completely inept, or grifters, in my books...
