Will this G-7 (tentative) minimum-tax agreement impede the drive for a higher US corporate income-tax rate? Maybe, but I wouldn’t bank on it.

One question is how Ireland, which has a corporate-income tax rate of 12.5%, can possibly agree to such a change.
