Today, I saw an article in The Hill about a car accident — it was a Tesla that crashed into a police car in Michigan. Apparently, it was on Autopilot. The driver involved in the accident was also driving with a suspended license and claimed that the vehicle had Autopilot engaged. Break the law, but blame Tesla.

If Autopilot was on before hitting a pulled over cop car, it doesnt matter if the driver has a suspended license. There is still a flaw in the code for the Tesla to drive into the cop car. The operator should still get a ticket for operating without a license but AP is still at fault for hitting the cop car.
