By the time the wrangling and deciding are over, guys like Billy already have the money and are in Bimini drinking Pina Coladas.

He has to know the situation here.
He has to realize there will be grief if he doesn't do the right thing.
I just can't imagine the guy isn't ready for anything and if there isn't a shareholder seat at the table now, I believe he already has his deal in place and the money distribution addressed.

NOT at all trying to be a downer. This stock is a home run, but stopping Billy now or chasing the money later are two very different animals.

The judge should have a motion in front of him from the shareholders asking that the funds be frozen pending resolution of the status of UOIP holders.

Sorry for the 2 cents but I still don't see a law firm being actually retained.
