What is the blind squirrel theory?

This expression means that even if a squirrel is ineffective or misguided, sometimes they can still be correct just by being lucky.

Well Lucky the squirrel with his little red-tip-cane scampered around the yard under that big walnut tree 10 times a day.

Starting in 1990 Lucky would find and save a nut of that incredible delicious chocolate coated nut. He called them his Lucky IDCC’s

The home owner would run around the yard yelling I am short my nuts. Where are my delicious walnuts.

The blind squirrel Lucky may not have been able to see, but he had very good hearing.

He would listen outside the window for the stock reports. Lucky’s’ best stock report was when he heard that IDCC was buying back shares.

Worried that his incredible delicious-chocolate coated nut would be in short supply, he would gather twice as many.

Lucky would wake up early every morning and say, “I feel great today because I am Lucky.”

Growing tired of hearing Lucky say the same dam thing every single morning, his wife said, “Lucky, you blind bat, you’re not lucky, you’re blessed to have all 4 of your other senses working better than most squirrels.”
