The reason I ask is b/c the jury could've come back with much more against Cox.
So this would make one think a global settlement would be a higher number per modem.
That could've been what the indemnifiers and MSOs were afraid of.
Therefore, if "Good faith" settlement details are being worked out, the overall price, by all logic, should be higher (if pre-determined before trial).
60 cents per modem?
I do NOT see how, at the bare minimum, a global settlement of less than $1 Billion dollars.
