Tourism in Thailand accounts for about 20% of gross national product. Thai Airways as a national company still had the largest part of personal transfer to this in 2019. The Thai government would shoot itself in the knee if it handed over this part to foreign corporations. Consequently, there is no other way than to approve the restructuring plan.
The examination and two-week deferral by the Central Bankruptcy Court is only a formality. The Thai law provides for the possibility of "additional clarification" to the two conflicting creditors and the planner. The appointment to hear the decision is expected on 15 June 2021, so that the court can agree to the debt restructuring according to plan.
With all respect, but there is nothing to fear or scary about. IMO...
